The Walking Dead 11: the second part consisting of eight new episodes will debut on the Disney + platform on February 21, 2022.
The Walking Dead 11 – On the occasion of the finale of the first part of the eleventh season of The Walking Dead, Disney + has announced that the series will return to the streaming platform with the second part consisting of eight new episodes starting February 21, 2022. As previously announced, the eight episodes Finals of Season 11’s long story arc, consisting of 24 episodes, will be available later in 2022.
This February, The Walking Dead will return with most of the protagonists engaged in fighting the impending battle unleashed by the attack of the Reapers; while others, in Alexandria, will have to confront Mother Nature’s devastating wrath. For everyone, the world is literally collapsing before their eyes. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth isn’t as idyllic as it seems.
Someone will find hope again. Others, however, will be pushed beyond the point of no return. Only one truth remains: lives are hanging by a thread and every decision will drastically change their future, their chances of survival and the state of each community.
Written by Erik Mountain and directed by Sharat Raju, the final episode of the first part of the eleventh season, entitled “For the blood” and available on Disney +, sees the Reapers defend Meridian from an oncoming pack. Pope suspects Maggie is behind the attack, while Daryl proceeds cautiously. Meanwhile, the Alexandrians strive to protect themselves when a violent storm leaves them exposed to the Wanderers.
Produced by AMC Studios and based on the comic series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead in the United States broke audience ratings over the course of ten seasons.
